Host: What is the action stage?

Gary Ryan Blair: The action stage of resolution is obviously where the rubber meets the road. This is when you get busy and start taking action. A very smart approach is the process of what s called small incremental wins, is that you want to start fast, which you want to start small. So essentially, what I am saying is the double-entendre in a positive way, is that you want speed is a competitive advantage. You want to get things done fast, but you want to make sure that there are series of small things that you can collectively build on and build momentum, build excitement, build passion, and most importantly build your confidence.

Good example would be this. If you wanted to, let s just say, lose 20 pounds over the course of 90-day, maybe a six-month period of time, one of the smallest things you can do is break that down into a very small process and may be the first thing is just to create a list of all activities. Once that s done, gives you a feeling of victory. Second thing is put the arm engaged in your first installment, if you will, your exercise program. Go for that workout. Know that you are on target. If you create a plan, you know what the individual steps are and if you accomplish each one the same way that you would rung a ladder or 1:13 rungs in a ladder, you would eventually meet with the victory that you are looking for, same exact process works.
