Hello, I am Jennifer Kirschnick and I am with a landscaping called Baltimore Garden Company and today we are going to be talking about how to decorate the outside of your home for the holidays. We are going to be doing everything from how to make a decoration for your window, we are going to show you how to make a couple of very festive containers for next to your front door, we are going to create a really fun decoration for above your door with fruit and we are going to show you how to install some holiday lights. Some of the tools that we are going to be using today for the decorating are everything from a good set of pruners, scissors, use scissors that are light, floral tape, floral wire, a brick of florist foam, it is a green foam that you can find in craft stores, fresh fruit. We are going to use a lot of green.

So, we are going to need a -- maybe almost even a trash bag full of fresh greens, pine cones and other accent pieces that will go over at the beginning of each clip. We are also going to be talking about some safety issues, this is not a really dangerous occupation, but we will go over some comments and things that you should keep in mind when we are doing these activities and before we go much further, I will tell you a little bit more about myself.

Again, my name is Jennifer and I have a degree in Landscape Architecture, actually and I have a landscape company for about five years now. We do landscaping, spring through fall and then this time of year, we do holiday decorating. A couple of projects we worked on, federal hill is a historical area here in Baltimore, we do the holiday decorations for the street there and the condominium building downtown, we do some front of the building decorations for them and we love this time of the year, it is fun to get outside and make places look beautiful.

For everyone who is walking by, it is fun to see the smiles on their faces when they see some nice decorations. So, let us get started, the first thing that we are going to talk about is how to make our window decoration which is something that you can put at the base of a window to brighten it up from the outside of your house.
