Eliza Niemann: My name is Eliza Niemann. I am with the Barker Foundation. I worked in the adoption field over a decade, mostly in the domestic adoption field and I worked with birthparents, adopted parents and adopted persons. I have run groups and worked with individuals in counseling and we are going to be talking today about the home study process as well as US adoption, or what is often also referred to as to domestic adoption focusing on the adoption of infants and also we are going to be talking about the birthparent and the adoption process for the birthparent.
