Jelani Freeman: Expanding a family through adoption can both be exciting and rewarding journey. A journey that will both change your life and a child s life forever, it is my hope to raise awareness for the tens of thousands of kids in America s foster care system that are both willing and eligible to be adopted. I encourage all families that are considering opening up both their homes and their hearts to keep their options open and to consider adopting an older child from the foster care system.
