Peggy Halliday: Hopefully, if the doctors who gave you the diagnosis is going to refer you to some professionals in your area who have experienced in early intervention services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. You want to get the names of professionals who have a great deal of experiences not just in developmental disabilities but in autism treatment and then you want to pursue earlier intervention therapies right away.
