Tu-Anh: Hi there, my name is Tu-Anh and I am with Polished by Tu-Anh, a design and image consulting firm in Washington DC Metro Area. In this series, I am going to demonstrate to you, how to create the Smokey-eyes look in just a few simple steps. You really do not need much to get started. You definitely need to have your flawless complexion already prepped and if you do not know what that is you can view my video on flawless complexion on monkeysee.
com .
What you need to get started is a base color eye-shadow in your matching skin tone, a black cream liner and a navy eye-shadow, a highlighter color with shimmer, mascara and eye-liner, two shadow brushes, a concealer brush and an eye contour brush. You also need some cotton balls, Q-tips, a small water bottle and some eye makeup remover, just in case. Remember, safety and cleanliness are always very important. You can do this in your bathroom or at a vanity area and please make sure children and pets are supervised.
Now, before we begin, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a Fashion Design degree. I also have been working as a professional makeup artist for Multinational cosmetic brands such as Shiseido, Khiehls, AVEDA, Prescriptives, Stila Cosmetics, Clinique, and Chanel for the past 20 years. I also lead beauty workshops and seminars on a monthly basis to hundreds of teens and women around the country and on top of that, I have had my own fashion label for the past eight years called Tu-Anh Accessories. Now, let us show you how to create the Smokey-eyes.
