Lisa Peklo: Hi! I am Lisa Peklo, and I am going to teach you how to do a Fireman Spin around the pole. First make sure that you are warm, then we are going to go ahead and stand next to our pole. I am going to use inside and outside arm instead of right, left so that you can follow along and on any side of your pole, your inside arm closest to the pole is going to be up nice and high, to give you plenty of room to spin, your outside arm is going to grab at chest level. Your outside leg is going to come to the front of the pole and hook right behind your ankle. Alright, now the fun part, you are going to slowly start to shift your weight forward and as you do you need to quickly pick up the leg that's on the floor.
If I were to freeze the spin, it would look like this. That back leg is going to come up directly behind the pole, okay. So here we go inside arm up, outside arm at chest level, outside leg hooks, slowly start to shift your body weight forward and quickly pull up that bottom leg behind the pole. Alright, you can walk into the spin for more momentum, so again here we go, I am going to walk into the spin this time, taking that outside leg, placing it to the pole, shifting my body weight, and when you land, you can just slowly pull yourself up. Alright, if you want to make it look a little prettier, you can practice pulling your knees wide on the spin. So again, here we are in our ready stands as I tip forward I am going to pull this foot to the pole, but pulling my knee wide on the pole, happy practicing your pole dancing.
