Brad Barnett: When you talk about financial aid, we are talking about what types of sources of money you use to help you pay for college. Think about it from the perspective of, if you buy a car or buy a home, a lot of people get a loan, that s financial assistance to help pay for that product. In the terms of financial aid for college, we are looking at things like grants, scholarships, loans, employment opportunities. Those are typically your big sources of financial aid.
