Host: What should I do I if have special circumstances not reflected on my applications?

Brad Barnett: Depending on which financial aid application you are completing, it may or may not ask for special circumstance information. I know the FAFSFA does not; so, if there is anything that s special in your life like unusual medical expenses or death in the family or something that is really pertaining to your family situation, but it's not on the FASFA, then you need to let the Financial Aid Officer at your college know. At times, we can account for those special circumstances that aren t on the application and increase your eligibility, but we won t be able to do that unless you contact us and let us know what s going on.
