Host: What is a cold?
Ronald Turner: Well, a cold refers to a group of symptoms that are associated with upper respiratory infections. These are infections that are caused by viruses and the symptoms that we commonly associate with a cold are sore throat, running noes, nasal obstruction, cough and sneezing.
