Transcripts
Arthur Jackson: Hi, I am Arthur Jackson, President of One On One Basketball. Today I am going to teach you how to dribble a basketball. From the basic components to control dribble, all the way through speed dribble, we are going to break it down for you and make you a better ball handler. We will teach you hand placements, ball placement and how to get up and down the court, staying under control. Great thing about this sport is all you really need is a basketball; you want to make sure you wearing some athletic clothes, loose fitting, comfortable and shoes that fit when you practice, so that you can go out and have a good work out. The other thing we want to remind you is that with any athletic event, you must go out and do a warm up and do some stretching to avoid any kind of injury. Just to give you a little background on myself. I played four years of division one basketball of Brown University. I was captain in my senior year and then went all over to Europe and played professionally. I came back and coached the division one college level and also at high school level and I have been a member of National Association of Basketball Coaches for the last 15 years. One On One Basketball is a basketball instruction company based in DC, we have nine regional offices across the US and we also do clinics, I have run clinics in four continents across the world. So, we are looking forward to working with you today and helping you become a better dribbler.
