Nancy McBride: Parents and guardians need to keep a number of different forms of identification about their child with them including a good quality photo, this should be a full face shot, it should be taken against a solid background and you can go to our website missingkids.
com, in the parents and guardians section to learn about what this photo should like. The photo should be updated every six months and kept in a safe place. You should also have a set of fingerprints on your child, a DNA sample and their medical and dental records should be readily available and accessible, all of these things should be kept together in a safe, secure yet accessible place.
