Host: What are non cigarette products and are they addictive?

Eletta Hansen: Non cigarette products are things like cigars, pipes and smokeless tobacco. Many of these products actually have more nicotine and more harmful tar than cigarettes. For example, with smokeless tobacco, one tin of smokeless tobacco has a same amount of nicotine as three packs of cigarettes. Again, do not be misled by the advertising, these products have the same risk that cigarettes have plus a much higher risk of throat and oral cancer. Learn about the products you use, again do not be misled by the advertising.
