    Wonderful
These videos were really informative. I had been trying to flat iron my own hair, but it didn't look the way I wanted it, so I ended up pin curling it. This was really great!

Diahna Husbands Hello. My name is Diahna Husbands. I am the owner of Diahna Lynn Hair Studio and today I am showing you how to style your hair with a flat iron. So, as you can see, I have just completed flat ironing of all sections and now I am about to show you how to pick the perfect sized flat iron. So really, we are going to do loose curls of my model. So, I am going to use about an inch size flat iron. So if I want to do smaller curls, I would about a half an inch size flat iron. But, now I am going to show you, how to do three types of gorgeous curls with our inch size flat iron. So again, we are going to section off the hair in four sections, starting from the crown of the head, sectioning off the first side. Then we can go to the, starting at the crown, going towards the ear, clipping this hair up and away, and then we are going to curl from the crown of the head to the nape of the neck. So the first type of curls, we are going to do are called full based curls, which is your full body curls. It gives the hair the most amount of volume and the most amount of bounce. So again, we are going to take our inch and a half wide section, about a half an inch deep, clip the hair up and away. Then take that section and we are going to take the hair up at a 90 degree angle from the head. And this gives the most amount of volume when you take the iron up. And we are just going to turn our wrist to make the curls. Now, I am about to show you how to do half-based curls, which is some volume not as much as the first. Okay, so now I am about to do half based curls which is just taking the hair out at a 45 degree angle from the head, taking the iron in about a quarter of an inch away from the scalp and turn the iron towards yourself. And then just take the iron out in a steady motion. And there you have gorgeous curl.

Now, we are about to do a off based curl. So, this time, we take our hair out, just going straight down from the scalp; taking the hair, the iron in, turning the iron; then just sliding the iron down the hair. And there you have off based curls. So now, I have showed you, how to do three types of gorgeous curls. Now, I am about to curl my models hair further Up Do.
