Host: What is an effective, step by step planning methodology?
Gary Ryan Blair: A very good system to use for planning is just use your six best friends, who, what, where, when, how and why? You just change the questions up a little bit. What is the goal? Make sure it's written in specific measure on time about language. Why do you want it? Identify what the motivators are, very simple. Put them down on paper.
Clearly, clearly make sure that they are compelling reasons why, then what you want to do is ask where am I starting form right now. We all have a current reality, what are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? What are your opportunities? What the current situation is in relation to towards this goal? When, when are you going to achieve it? What date are you going to arrive? Then most importantly, is how? What's your plan? What are the steps you are going to take in order to achieve that?
You follow that system, and if -- I probably forgot that who, but that's alright. What you do there is you also identify, who is going to assist you, because no goal is achieved in a vacuum. So, it's important for you to put your team together as well, but if you just write down that who, what, where, when, how and why? You would be able to box in and have a really good clear plan. For just about anything, that you want to achieve.
