Gray Ryan Blair: An effective implementation strategy would look like this. You would phrase it out and you will probably see over here this what I call the anatomy of a goal where you see a triangle. There are three components to it, there is what, there is the why and there is the how. The what we have discussed already, that's the goal, that needs to written in specific measurable and time bound language. Now the system I am going to share with you it was actually called 135 goal. What should you do you should always identify what. Very simple, one goal, fix the criteria that it's specific, it is measurable and it is time bound. Example would be I will weigh 165 pound and have a 28 inch waist by June 15th my birthday this year. That is stated. Another way of looking at it, if you are in a sales profession I will increase by 17% this year, and the net benefit will be and my income would be a $20,000 increase by the end of the calender year. Specific, measurable and time bound. So one what, then we have 3 whys. Identify 3 motivational reasons why. So it is not just because I want to make more money, I provide food for my family but three compelling emotional reason why that will sustain you and drive you. Then you need five hows. Five hows are individual action steps. Now each one of these action steps needs to written in specific, measurable and time bound language as well. So you have to identify exactly what you are going to do in order to achieve the goal. So a quick review, one what three whys, five hows. So 135 goal setting system is a very effective implementation plan.
