Host: How much input should I give my child in making the decision?

Andrew Battaile: If you are looking at a private high school, your child is right now an eight grader, and you might think that may be they are too young to decide these things on their own and again you know your child best to see whether or not that is a good setting for your child. But your child definitely does need to have some kind of input on the decision. If you would force your child to go to a school that might not be a good thing and they may not appreciate that kind of decision. So if you have your child give some kind of input in the decision when you are looking at schools that is a good thing.
