Andrew Battaile: Many private schools have either a dress code or school uniform. If your child comes in sneakers and jeans and those are not allowed usually your child will either feel uncomfortable or they might feel really out of place and a little bit embarrassed. So definitely research with the admissions office beforehand if there is a dress code, it is just like a job interview you definitely want first impression to be good.
