Host: Should I try to manage my child's expectation when applying to private high schools?

Andrew Battaile: A lot of times you are going to apply to more than one private school and you will know if your child wants to go to one school over the other. It's good for your child to be confident. They should always know that they have the ability to contribute to a school no matter which school it is. However it's a reality that you might not get the decision form the school that you child wants to hear. So manage their expectations, let them know what the possibilities are, they should be excited about the possibilities, but they should also be realistic.
