Host: How early should my child began the application process?
Andrew Battaile: The application process starts with your research on a school. If your son or daughter is an 8th grader then you are probably starting too late because that's when you actually have to apply. What you want to do is you want to start as a 6th grader perhaps looking at schools going to open houses seeing what schools you like, what schools you dont like. So start around 6th grade researching schools. Now when it comes to actually applying itself you can start usually the summer or the fall of the year before your child would be admitted to the school.
