Andrew Battaile: Hi, I am Andrew Battaile, the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.

C. Right now, we are going to talk about receiving the decision.

Host: How long will I have to wait to receive the decision after applying?

Andrew Battaile: Depending on a how a school treats admissions, there could be rolling admissions where you will find out sooner or if it's a calendar where there is a notification date. It may depend and vary as to when you are going to hear from the school and how long you have to wait. Ask the admissions office, find out what the notification date is. At Gonzaga, our application deadline is in early December where as we notify either in late February or early March.

So, that's a couple of months where families have to wait to find out from schools. Again, if you research it with the admissions office you can find out how long to wait to hear from the school.
