Host: What do I do if my child was rejected?

Andrew Battaile: Often, if you get a letter saying that your son or your daughter is not accepted, you want to know why. If you really do want to know why, admissions officers are almost always available to tell you why the decision was made. Often there is not much recourse, if a student has not been accepted there is not very frequently that that decision is overturned. So dont call expecting to have that happen, but there is always the possibility that if your son or your daughter was not accepted as a freshmen into a private high school, they can always transfer in as sophomores or juniors. At Gonzaga we have this happen every year.
