Andrew Battaile: You can definitely go back to the admissions or financial aid office and ask if there is more aid available even though a decision has been made. For instance at Gonzaga, if tuitions are barrier to a student coming here, we do our best to make sure that the family can afford tuition. So there is no harm in asking again if there is some aid available. Also, there are outside sources for financial aid as well. There are institutions and organizations that target certain demographics or certain students or may be they just make aid available in general to those who need it. So make sure to research aid from the school directly, but also from other organizations.
