Host: What can you take away from the auditioning experience?

Jennifer Rutherford: Remember if you are auditioning for a role or a part in a play, or a show, musical theater. They are looking for a type of person, they are looking for someone who not only sounds the part but the part. Unless they are going to take whatever they can get and then put makeup and wigs on them until they look like the part but most of the time they are going to be looking for a type. So your best bet is to audition for those types that you suit first of all and if you are not doing that, then dont be disappointed if they dont pick you. But if go in audition over and over again you are going to get more and more inured to this kind of thing. It is going to become easier, you are going to take it less personally but dont worry about if you dont get a part. If you dont get it just try, try again that's really it is a learning experience in that you have got the chance to give it another try another time. Maybe because you didn't get this part something better is going to come along. You just never know.
