Host: Will my child attending a different high school affect their current group of friends?

Andrew Battaile: Often times in an elementary school or a great school. If you leave to go to another school that your friends aren't going to, it can create some divisions among friendships. Make sure that you encourage your child to maintain their friendships even if their friends aren't going to the same school. It can be again a divisive thing but always encourage your son or your daughter to make the extra efforts to maintain their friendships with all of their grade school friends even after high school begins.
