    Host: Why is prayer useful?

Rev. Josheph McCloskey: Prayer is useful because it is a way of having a confidence in some one outside of yourself. It is a way of escaping from the trap of being locked into yourself. It is a way of knowing yourself loved and it is a way of being free to talk out your heart with the person who is always there and always waiting to listen to you.
