Host: How do I speak to God?

Rev. Joseph McCloskey: When people ask me how do I speak to God, I always think of every person who says how do you feel today. I have made the mistake often enough of telling them how I really felt and no one really wanted to hear that. How do I speak to God? I speak to God from my heart and how much the God wants to hear from me? Well we are called to be his children and we are called to love him with all of our being. So call to speak to God with all that I have and sometimes I have a lot and sometime I have a little. Sometimes I have good prayer days and sometimes I have days where I feel like I am o.

d.

ing overdosing on God. There is no right place as long as you are following your heart because your heart will always be restless until it rests in him Saint Augustine said that in the Fourth Century and it is still true today. My heart can only rest in God. So how open am I to bringing God into my life and then the richness of how I live my life in God's love is what prayer is all about. 1
