Transcripts
Host: How do I practice vocal prayer?
Rev. Joseph McCloskey: You have got your mom, you have got your dad, you have got your minister, your priest, you have got the people who pray out loud. I used to be jealous of all my Baptist friends specially the Baptist preacher because they could, Oh my God I love you my God you are so wonderful, you have touched my people, you are rich with the gift which you give us. There is a sort of freedom that releases your soul to express the divine connection that is always there for everyone of us.
You can do vocal prayer by a memorized prayer direct to Lord, I would seek you all my actions, by your divine inspirations, carry them out by your gracious assistance, that every prayer and work of mine will always begin from you and by you be happily ended. That's the one I say every morning before I even get out of bed because if you get to a point in your life where nothing is really worth doing, if this is not worth doing forever but if God is the one that there nudging you and pushing you and encouraging you then you know it is a forever activity of the day and you can be happy with little things or great things that you have a chance to do.
