It's a Chinese tradition to eat long noodles on New Year's Day ensuring a long healthy life. Try these cold sesame noodles. In a kitchen aid blender add two sliced scallions, a clove of garlic, a teaspoon of fresh gingerroot, two tablespoons of soya sauce, hot sauce to taste, one tablespoon of sesame oil, one tablespoon of rice wine vinegar, one tablespoon of sugar, one tablespoon of peanut oil, a third of a cup of a chunky peanut butter, a third of a cup of sesame seeds and blend. Add a quarter cup of cold water to smooth out the sauce. Next, pour the sauce over cold noodles and toss. Garnish with scallions, chopped peanuts and sesame seeds.
