dHi, my name is Lee Dorman and I am on leave from my classroom in Arlington, Virginia as a science teacher. I currently serve as President of the Arlington Education Association. I also serve on the Board of Directors for both the Virginia and the National Education Association. I have experience teaching in Elementary school, Middle school and High school. I hold an endorsement for special education as well as one for gifted and talented and I train teachers as well. Today, we are going to talk about parent teacher conferences. Today, we are going to talk about the kinds of conferences that there are, some suggestions as to how parents can get the most from those conferences and we are also going to talk about questions that parents can ask teachers when they go into these conferences.
