Host: What are the different types of parent-teacher conferences?

Lee Dorman: There are several different types of parent conferences that you can have. There is a conference that is called kind of an introductory get-to-know-you conference. There are conferences that you can have when your child is having difficulty or doesn't understand an assignment in a classroom. There are also conferences that you can have if a child is having difficulty and has a grade that you don't understand. Sometimes too, parents and teachers do disagree, and you also have conferences with teachers to resolve a dispute.
