Eric Stanton: Hello, my name is Eric Stanton. I have been a resident break dancer for the past 4-5 years in Orlando Florida and today I am going to teach you the basics of breakdancing.
We are going to go for five moves which consist of Top Rock, Drops, Floor Work, Windmill and then we are going to do the combination of all those together; but, first I am going to tell you a little bit about myself. I have been breakdancing since I was 15-years-old. I started out with a group called, Forbidden Styles, branched off into a solo B-Boy and I started to breakdance with like dangerous rounds, boogie down styles and so forth; but there are some safety precautions you want to do when you start breakdancing. If you are outside, you want to start out by getting some linoleum, some cardboard, just in case, so you do not bump your head and so forth and you want some music. With this music, you can have any type of genre of music that you choose because some people break to anything; but, you want to be safe at all times because you can either scratch yourself up, you can bump your head or you can break a bone. So you want to start out slow of course, when you are learning all these breakdancing moves. Let us get started.
