How to Make a Valentine's Day Dinner for Two

Marie Guaragna: Hi! I am Marie Guaragna with MGB Special Events in Arlington, Virginia and today I am going to show you how to make a wonderful romantic dinner for two for your special valentine on Valentine's Day. We are going to start with a wonderful Escargot appetizer. Then we are going to have a Filet Mignon stuffed with Oysters wrapped in bacon and we are going to have some boursin scalloped potatoes along side of a wonderful sauted spinach and garlic and then we are going to wrap it all up with some fresh strawberries, with some homemade almond whipped cream and topping it off with a raspberry sauce.

So, today we are going to be making a lot of different dishes; that we'll go over the ingredients as we go along; but for now let's talk about safety. We are going to be using sharp knives and make sure you're always careful with that. Handling raw meat, you should always wash your hands and all the utensils that we are going to using today.

The only special item might be an Escargot dish, but everything else you should have in your kitchen. So, I'll show you that as we go along. So, let me tell just a little bit about myself before we get started. MGB Special Events is a private client based company here located in Arlington Virginia. We pride ourselves on all homemade dishes and I am the head chef, if you will and I am also a bartender and teach cooking classes in Arlington, Virginia to adults or children or whoever wants to come to my classes.
