Host: How will I know to leave my home with my pets or stay at home during an emergency?

Lesa Miller: Well, you will want to tune in to your local news alert system on the radio, on television, on the computer and they will instruct you as to the status of the emergency, the nature of the emergency and what you should and should not be doing. So and that can change overtime so you want to make sure that you stay on top of that and beware of any changes in case you do need to evacuate your home and go to a shelter with your pets and those will be indicated by the emergency alert system where you can go with them.
