Mark Boudreau: Hi, my name is Mark Boudreau and I am with Spectrum Auto Painting & Collision Center in Arlington, Virginia. Today, I will be showing you how to polish out scuffs and scratches out of your vehicle's finish both by hand and with the machine buffer. From determining which scratches can and cannot be polished out of your vehicle's finish, what techniques and materials you are going to need, I will show you everything from start to finish. Here is what you are going to need, liquid dishwashing soap, clean rags, rubbing compound, polish, wax, a machine buffer and a little elbow grease. Let's talk about some safety precautions. Make sure the vehicle you are working on is off, parked in the shade and free from traffic. Now, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
