Speaker: What advice would you give people who have never run before?

Ron Faucheux: If you have never run for office before, I think you need to realize that a political candidate needs to be focussed on what the objective is. You have to really, really work hard. You have to be very disciplined in terms of what you do, so that you are using your time constructively. You also have to be very well prepared, just like you wouldn't go on a football field or on a theatrical stage without practice and preparation and training, you shouldn't do it as a political candidate either and finally, you should run for a office because you want to stand for something that is worthwhile.
