Kathy Reily: Most insurance companies will cover the blood sugar meter, the blood sugar test trips and lens sets used to test blood sugar and most of the time you need just a prescription from your physician for these items and if you obtain them at the pharmacy and it would have a copay just as if you were refilling or filling a prescription.
