    Speaker: What is the 'Foot Loose and Fancy Free Group' of women?

    Gloria MacDonald: The third category of women is what I call the 'Foot Loose and Fancy Free Group'. This is the group of women who are late 40; say 48 to late 50, 58, 59 and this is a surprise to most women; but I find this the easiest group of women to work with in my dating service because they are foot loose and fancy free. If they have children, the children are grown; they are out of the house or they are at least late teens and they are self-sufficient. They are not depending upon their mother everything, all that care giving and driving them here and there. These women are usually financially stable; they have a good career, but they are not desperately trying to climb the corporate ladder. They are not workaholics and so they have the financial ability and the time to truly invest in the relationship. They have the flexibility and the freedom to maybe do some traveling. They have the ability to go away for a weekend and their lives do not revolve around the family and their carrier and going back to school. So they truly are foot loose and fancy free. This something that, frankly, is very appealing to men. So the biggest challenge for this group of women is just really keeping fit and in good shape and looking the best that you can possibly look for your age range; but frankly, this is a wonderful age to be -- and there are lots of fantastic men out there. Well, it is true that there are a lot fewer men than there are women. You can have a fantastic relationship with an incredible guy; you just have to invest some the time and effort into putting into getting out there and finding that great guy.
