Gloria MacDonald: It is possible to have a wonderful, long-term, committed relationship. But romantic fantasies do not just come true like they do in the movies or in fairytales. They take work, they take commitment and we cannot fool ourselves into believing that it is just going to happen, that it is just going to happen naturally. No two human beings are exactly the same and we will always have these issues of cross winds, turbulence, low visibility and we have to be committed to dealing with them. A relationship is truly a work of art and a work of art, a master when he paints a masterpiece is committed to it. He is passionate about it. He does not let go of it and it takes time and dedication and skill and effort. So, we really can have absolutely, incredibly, wonderful, long-term, fulfilling, loving relationships, but it takes commitment, it takes work, it takes dedication.
