Johari Barnes: Hi! I am Johari Barnes, owner of Distinctively Yours Event Management and today, we are talking about how to set a perfect table setting. Right now, we are looking at accessories for the table. We have put all the centerpieces and we have put the plates, the chargers, stemware, flatware and we will talk about accessories to make the table just more inviting. One of the things that I am a big advocate for is votive candles. Votive candles give so much personality to any table. This particular table setting, I have chosen to go with black votive candle holders and white candles. It brings in all the colors of the play settings themselves on the table and just gives a really nice look to the table. This is where you would add your place card, your table number and those items can incorporate the different colors that are on the table. You can bring items out of your bouquet and that's one of the things I am going to show you today. So for instance, in the centerpiece, we have Stargazer Lilies. They are beautiful, they are pink, wide flowers and you can use these as a favor and as a place card for your guest and you could have it right in front of your plate, you can have the person's name on it, so this is one way of having a favor and a place card that works for your table setting. You can feel free to use taller votives, holders, there are lots of alternatives to the candles being on the table.

So this is going to be our final table setting here. For this, we are going to have the damask base plate. Another alternative to this, you could have a clear pink plate, you can have a clear blue plate. You could change the napkins in dew pink. There are so many different variations of this table setting that you could do in order to be inspired by the centerpiece. So here we have a complete table setting with our silverware, plates, everything and our glasses. This is what that your guest will see when they come to your reception, bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner.
