Sarah Meyer Walsh: Hi! I am Sarah Meyer Walsh, the creator of Haute Papier. Today, I am going to be showing you how to make beautiful wedding invitations at home while sharing a little bit of wedding paper etiquette along the way. We are going to start by looking at a basic "Save the Date" invitation, which is something you would send out to your guest several months before the wedding to give them the heads-up about the date. Next, we will look at wedding invitation that is a little bit more elaborate than the "Save the Date". So before we get started, there are a few basic items that you will need in making all of the invitational ensemble that we just talked about; starting with a paper cutter, a ruler or a straightedge, a pencil, paper glue, the paper that you will be sending through your home printer and finally a pair of scissors. As always, when working with sharp edges such as the scissors and the paper cutter, be careful, there are small children around. As the founder of Haute Papier Couture stationary studio in Washington DC, I worked with hundreds of brides to create the perfect wedding papery ensemble for their special day. Hopefully, after this studio, you will be well in your way to putting together that perfect invitations that defends all of your guts. Let us get started.
