Host: How important are excursions on my honeymoon?

Melinda Webb: I think excursions are really important, especially, if you take a longer honeymoon because your first few days if you want to rest. But then you really want to go and see the destinations to experience that, to experience the culture. You don't want to go to Jamaica and miss out on this planning that they have which is just fantastic. In Mexico you definitely don't want to miss out on Mayan Ruins which is just phenomenal so and there is a lot in every destination. When you go into Thailand you got elephant safaris. When you go into Egypt you have got hot air balloon rides over the desert. So, by just staying in your hotel, it's good for a first couple of days if you just stay there then you can probably miss out on the destination which is half the fun of where you are going anyways.
