Host: What decisions do I have to make before writing my book?

James Frey: Well, there are quiet a few decisions you need to make of how you want to compose your book, what genre, what the content of the book is, before writing your book. If you are going into bookstore or any place that sells books there is a wide variety of genres, content, treatments of what the book is going to be looking like when its published.

There are all kinds of books - Biographies, Scientific books, How-to Books, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. I think there are 89 main categories of books. So, you have to decide what your book is going to be and what the content is going to include in the book that you are going to write.
