Host: Can my book be marketed to a wide readership?

James Frey: Well, I just touched on that your book can be marketed. As an author you have to understand that there is a difference between marketing and sales. There are publishers and you are going to need a publisher to market your book, your work that you have spent so much time on to the literary market place. Basically, you and your book will get exposure to the market place through the services of the different kinds of publishers. But exposure does not guarantee book sales. So, yes a book can be exposed towards wider literary market place as you want within the retail book selling sector or on the internet.
