Host: What is a print-on-demand publisher and their book publishing requirements?

Jim Frey: Print-on-demand publishers have become more numerous during the past decade. They essentially provide short run copies of a book if they have some services available to an author in terms of formatting it and getting it printed in the manner that the author desires. Their typical requirements are the author has to provide a computer file of the entire book including the cover and like printers that the author pays to get the work published.
