Beatbox Bass Drum
Beatboxer Andrew Gutterson demonstrates how to do the beatbox bass drum.
Transcripts
Andrew Gutterson: Hey what's up? My name is Andrew Gutterson. I am from Beatboxer Entertainment. Today, I will be teaching you guys how to beatbox. The first noise I am going to teach you guys how is to do is the Bass drum. What it sounds like is this. So what you are going to do is you are going to start with the word 'Boom'. Now what the Bass drum sound is, is you take the 'Boom' and then you shorten it and then you start making it louder and louder and louder and what you come out with is a Bass drum which will sound like --.
Now when you start, it's not going to sound as bassy or as loud as mine, but after a practice and after a lot of times of repetition you will grip down to where mine is. So again, you start with the word 'Boom'. So the word 'Boom' you shorten it and then you get it to the Bass sound and you do it louder and louder and then you get --. So example of this would be saying 'Boom', 'Boom', 'Boom'.
That was a basic Bass beat. Now I am going to teach you guys how to do the Throat beat in beatboxing.
