Host: If an employee is offered health insurance from their company, will it always be the most affordable plan they can find?

Bob Hurley: Yeah, many employees they get offered their health insurance benefits package from their employer and they really think it's a take it or leave it scenario. They don't realize they actually have the choice of going out and getting their own coverage if they so desire. So if your employer offers you are plan you certainly should evaluate that plan but if it's tremendously expensive and you don't feel that you can afford it you may want to look on your own and again, the internet is a great place to do that, because you may find that you can cover yourself and your family for a lot less than what the employer is offering you. So when it comes to employer sponsored coverage it is not the only option you have got. If it feels like it is too expensive it probably is and you should go shopping and see if you can do better than your employer has done for you.
