Radio personality and gourmet cook Rob Carson shows how to make an Italian panini.
How to Make an Italian Panini
Ingredients
BreadA tomato
A few slices of basil
A couple of slices of Turkey
1 piece of prosciutto
Basil pesto
1 red onion
Provolone cheese
Olive oil
Instructions
1. Heat up the panini maker. Spray olive oil on the sides of the bread that will be touching the panini machine.
2. Put the tomato, basil, turkey and prosciutto on the bread. Spread basil pesto on the bread. Put the red onion on and then put the provolone cheese on so that the cheese melts over the onion.
3. Put the panini in the panini press. Leave it in for about 5 minutes or so. Remove it and serve it.
