Host: Can I get away with not telling the insurance company something that may affect my health coverage?

Bob Ley: Tell the truth, there is no sense in shading the facts on your application to get a lower rate. Be assured when a claim is made the insurance company will investigate before paying. The insurance policies also have a two year contestability period from date of issue to permit the company to challenge life policies, or the insured knowingly made incorrect representations on the application.
