Margie Weiss: My name is Margie Weiss; I have been in the fitness industry for about 38 years. I have been a National Champion in Gymnastics, I have owned my own gyms and I have been an Aerobics Director, the Group Fitness Director for number of gyms. I am also a Personal Trainer. I train a lot of young athletes and I have noticed that the one thing that they tend not to do which they should is stretch. There are three forms of fitness; Cardio, Strength and Flexibility. Its one-third of the fitness components, and it needs to be done everyday no matter whether you are aged two or 90, whether you are an international level athlete or the general public, you still need to stretch. The main reason for that is injury prevention.

It also helps to increase your range of motions so that if you want to get stronger you also need to become more flexible. So, without further due we are going to start on basic stretching.
